This page is for homeowners whose pool filter looks damaged, leaks, will not seal correctly, or keeps showing pressure and flow problems that may point beyond normal cleaning.
You do not have to know whether the issue is a filter part, pressure problem, valve concern, dirty filter, pump issue, or water chemistry problem before you book. A repair diagnosis helps sort that out before you approve repair work.
Water is leaking around the tank, lid, clamp, band, valve, drain plug, fittings, or equipment pad.
The filter body, lid, clamp, band, gauge, valve, or visible part looks cracked, warped, loose, or worn.
The filter is hard to close, hard to seal, or leaks again after the lid, clamp, or band is adjusted.
Pressure is unusually high, unusually low, jumping around, or not matching how the pool is flowing.
Pool filter repair pricing depends on the filter type, what is damaged, whether parts are needed, and whether repair or replacement is the safer path. That is why we start with a repair diagnosis instead of guessing from symptoms alone.
The repair diagnosis is $149. You pay $74.50 when you schedule. If you approve the repair, that amount is credited toward the work. If you do not proceed, we charge the remaining $74.50 to complete the $149 diagnosis.
Parts, repair labor, replacement filters, filter internals, and follow-up work are quoted separately when applicable and only move forward with your approval.
We will not ask you to approve filter repair or replacement until you understand what we found.
A dirty filter can create high pressure, weak flow, or cloudy water. A damaged filter can leak, crack, fail to seal, or need replacement parts. If you are not sure which one you have, send a photo or book a repair diagnosis.
The goal is to understand whether the filter needs repair, replacement, cleaning, or another service before repair work begins.
We look for obvious leaks around the filter tank, lid, clamp, band, valve, drain plug, fittings, or nearby equipment.
We check visible filter parts for cracks, loose fittings, damaged pieces, sealing trouble, or signs that parts may need replacement.
We review pressure and flow clues that may point to filter trouble, pump trouble, dirty media, or another equipment issue.
We look at visible valves, unions, fittings, and equipment-pad conditions that may affect how water moves through the filter.
We help sort whether the filter appears to need repair, replacement, a deep cleaning, or broader equipment diagnostics.
When repair work is needed, we explain the issue and provide an estimate before additional work moves forward.
A filter repair diagnosis focuses on visible residential pool filter equipment and repair-like symptoms. Some needs are better handled by another service.
If the better next step is cleaning, diagnostics, water care, or another service, we will tell you plainly.
Filter problems can look similar at first. The right service depends on whether the filter is dirty, damaged, leaking, hard to seal, or connected to a broader pressure or flow issue.
Best when the filter leaks, looks cracked, will not seal, has damaged parts, or may need replacement.
