Some pools have been sitting too long for normal chemicals or routine cleaning to make sense. A swimming pool drain and pressure wash is the reset for those. Drain and Pressure Wash is for pools where the water has been sitting for an extended period and is no longer a practical chemical turnaround. If it would cost more to fight the water than to reset the pool, draining and washing may be the better path.
This service is often a fit for neglected pools, long-sitting water, heavy debris, severe algae, and pools that need a full reset before normal care can begin again.
If the pool has been ignored for a long time, a chemical recovery may not be the best first move.
Leaves, dirt, and settled debris can make normal cleaning or chemical treatment inefficient.
When the water can't reasonably be turned around with chemicals, starting over can make more sense.
After the pool is drained, washed, refilled, and restarted, it may be easier to move into weekly cleaning or water care.
The goal is to move the pool from a failed water condition back toward a usable pool that can be balanced and maintained.

After the pool drains, we return to pressure wash the surface and remove debris.
The pool can be refilled with a backyard hose or a water delivery truck. Refill time depends on the pool size and refill method.
Once the pool is refilled, we restart the chemicals so the water can move back toward normal balance.

Plaster pools can generally be drained completely for this service. Fiberglass pools require more caution and are generally not drained more than halfway because ground pressure can create problems for the shell.

We drain and pressure wash pools throughout Williamson and Travis Counties, out to about fifty miles from Round Rock.
This is the job for a pool that has sat too long to treat. Round Rock and Georgetown are both on the weekly list, so we are rarely starting from a standing start.
